We offer several discounted rates and these are listed below. Whether it’s to show our appreciation to those in uniform or to assist with guest travel expenses, if one of these discounts apply, please give us a call for the discounted rate.

First Responders and Military

We admire and appreciate the sacrifices of first responders and the military. Our way of saying “thank you” is to offer special rates for first responders and military active duty, reservists, and veterans. We occasionally offer other special promotions. Bicyclist Package

We even have a special “Bicyclists” rate if you are riding the Virginia Capital Trail or one of the six New Kent County trails. This package includes pickup and delivery at Charles City Courthouse, Cul’s Courthouse Grill, or Indian Fields Tavern on the Virginia Capital Trail or at the New Kent Visitors Center for the six county trails for 1 or 2 persons and their bicycles. Friends & Neighbors

Do you live in New Kent County and have more overnight relatives, friends, or guests than you have bedrooms? Have friends and relatives visiting for Thanksgiving, Christmas, a family reunion, or other special gathering? Four or five people to a bed might have been common practice in the 18th century but there was no privacy and it wasn’t comfortable; today it is unthinkable. History Lovers Package

Central Virginia is rich in colonial American and Civil War history. There is a special “History Lovers” rate if you are touring the James River plantations, visiting Colonial Williamsburg (ask about a personalized walking tour for a small fee), or checking out the rich history of New Kent County and the surrounding area. Horseman's Package

Gracefield Hall is located minutes from Colonial Downs on Mt. Pleasant Road via KentlandTrail. We offer a greatly reduced rate for trainers, owners, and other horsemen; there is no minimum stay. We provide friendly service, flexible check-in/check-out times, and flexible times for either a fully cooked sit-down or take-with breakfast. There is plenty of parking and turnaround for large trucks and horse-trailers.

Racing season is our busiest time of the year. Especially during the Virginia Derby and Stake races. Book your reservations in advance to guarantee a room!

Virginia Garden Week Special

Virginia Historic Garden Week is in April each year. Stay at Gracefield Hall while you visit the area gardens on the tour, including the James River Plantations, which are nearby. Wedding Guests & Wedding Planners

We do not yet hold weddings at Gracefield Hall™; there are several wonderful, scenic, and historic venues in New Kent County that host weddings. But, if you are from out of the area and attending a wedding in New Kent County or an adjacent county, then you will need a place to stay. Why stay in a distant motel or hotel in Richmond or Williamsburg? Instead, stay close-by at Gracefield Hall and enjoy our friendly and personalized service.

If you are a wedding planner, why spend your time on the road when you can stay local? Rest, refresh, and relax. Have a great breakfast.
