Outer Banks

Travelling to the Outer Banks of North Carolina or even Myrtle Beach farther south? Gracefield Hall is a perfect midway overnight stop if you are coming from Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, New York or one of the New England states. You might even want to tour Colonial Williamsburg the next morning on your way south.

Relax in our parlor when you arrive or enjoy dinner at one of the local area restaurants (no fast food here!). We can even make dinner recommendations. When the weather is nice in the evening, relax on the back porch overlooking the field and the forest beyond. You never know what wildlife you will see. It might be deer or turkeys. Swallows come out as dusk falls swooping and diving above the field for bugs. A bit later on, the bats take their turn over the field. Those are the reasons we have few, if any, bugs on the back porch.

So, don’t tire yourself out on the way to a nice vacation. Stop and relax and sleep in one of our very comfortable beds. Then enjoy a hearty country breakfast in the morning before getting on your way.
